Workshops
Monthly workshops
We host hands-on workshops approximately once per month on a variety of topics ranging from data management to computing and advanced statistical methods for researchers in ALVSCE and beyond. Feel free to request a workshop here!
Other Workshops
We also run a variety of other workshops for diverse groups and conferences at UA and beyond.
Let us know what workshops you are interested in by filling out this form or request a specific workshop using our Contact Us page! These are free and can be customized to the needs of you, your lab, or your department. See examples of the type of content we can provide below, in the Potential Topics section.
Upcoming Workshops
Workshops are virtual and hands-on, unless otherwise noted.

- Catch mistakes in your data early and often! In this workshop you'll learn to use data validation tools in Excel, data entry strategies to minimize errors, and a few R packages to help you catch errors in your data and produce beautiful and functional data validation reports. Example datasets will be provided, but feel free to bring your own data to work on at the end.
